Obligation of Confidentiality in the Personnel Process

To:  Administrative Officers, Deans, Department Chairs, Directors, Vice Chancellors and Vice Provosts

We will be sending the Fall Quarter annual memorandum to UCLA faculty regarding Confidentiality in the Personnel Process. In advance of this message, we are sending a notification to you as academic administrators and ask that you distribute it to your standing and ad hoc academic personnel committees to reinforce the obligation of confidentiality of their deliberations throughout the peer review process. We also want to take this opportunity to ask that you remind staff involved in these matters that they should also maintain confidentiality.
