Re: UCLA Negotiated Salary Trial Program Participation
As you know, the Office of the President authorized UCLA to implement the Negotiated Salary Trial Program (“NSTP”) effective July 1, 2013. This is a five-year pilot program that allows ladder and in-residence faculty in participating schools and divisions to voluntarily contribute external funding resources toward their total UC salary. Currently the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the Divisions of Life and Physical Sciences in the College of Letters and Science are active participants in the program. I am pleased to inform you that this program is available for other interested schools and divisions at UCLA beginning July 1, 2016.
In order to participate, please submit your email request to me no later than January 31, 2016. I will review your request and confer with the Executive Vice Chancellor; upon approval of the request, you will be contacted.
