6 lecture courses (IWC) per year = 100% for the year (6 IWC = 100%)
2 lecture courses (IWC) in a given quarter = 100% for that quarter (2 IWC per quarter = 100% per quarter)
1 3-unit lab course (14BL, 20L, 30BL) = .75 (IWC) of a course= 38% for that quarter (.75 IWC = 38% for that quarter)
20 hours per week consisting of a combination of lecture/discussion participation, laboratory supervision and grading = 50% for that quarter (.5 IWC).
Additional duties of an administrative or educational nature during the academic year can = up to 1 course per quarter (Up to 1.0 IWC).
