II. Workload Policy for Teacher Education Program (TEP)

Lecturers (Title Codes 1630, 1631, and 1632)

I. The intent of this policy is to delineate reasonable IWC values for work assigned to TEP Lecturers in accordance with Article 24, Workload, of the MOU. Though TEP reserves the right to reduce time and/or lay off Lecturers in accordance with Article 17 of the MOU, this workload policy is not intended to result in a reduction in a Lecturer's time in circumstances where a strict application of these IWC values (particularly derived from Roman Numeral III below) would result in less than a full time workload, due, for example, to anomalous enrollment numbers.

II. Committee Work is assigned a value of 1 IWC over the course of an entire academic year. Committee work includes, but is not limited to work related to:

a. Recruitment and Admissions

b. Training, Calibration and Scoring of The Performance Assessment for California Teachers (PACT)
