Online system for posting jobs, accepting applications, and reviewing candidates is now available for use.
Departments can now post their academic job openings and conduct paperless reviews of applications with UCLA Academic Recruit. Six departments (from the School of Medicine to the School of Arts and Architecture) have jobs listed in Recruit and over 600 applicants have applied online already.
The Academic Personnel Office has been conducting training classes for campus staff with academic personnel responsibilities since December. APO staff are available to meet with any department that has questions or still needs training in using UCLA Academic Recruit. The Recruit page has user guides, a schedule of upcoming training classes, and more information on the project.
The use of UCLA Academic Recruit will be mandatory for academic jobs with a start date of July 1, 2014 or later.
